For Companies

Spain compliance,
handled for you.

Your company needs to operate legally in Spain. We handle the Spanish side: tax registration, director NIE, AEAT communication, and ongoing compliance, while you run your business.

Who we work with

UK, Swiss, US, and non-EU companies that sell goods or services into Spain, employ staff here, or need a local presence, and want the Spanish side handled by someone on the ground who speaks the language, knows the system, and reports back to you in plain English.

🇬🇧 UK companies post-Brexit 🇨🇭 Swiss companies 🇺🇸 US companies 🌍 Non-EU businesses

No fixed prices. Every company situation is different. Your country of origin, the structure of your operations, and what you need all affect the scope and fee. All services are quoted individually after a free initial consultation. There is no cost to reach out and explain your situation.

01

Spanish VAT Registration & Compliance

If your company sells goods or services in Spain, or stores stock here, you are likely required to register for Spanish VAT. We manage the entire process and keep you compliant on an ongoing basis.

  • Modelo 036 registration with the AEAT for foreign and non-EU companies
  • Quarterly VAT return filings (Modelo 303) on your behalf
  • Annual VAT summary filing (Modelo 390)
  • Assessment of your VAT obligations in Spain before registration
  • Coordination with your accountant or CFO in your home country
  • All AEAT communications handled in Spanish; you receive clear summaries in English

Particularly relevant for UK companies that lost EU VAT simplifications post-Brexit, e-commerce businesses selling to Spanish consumers, and any company with a taxable presence (fixed establishment or warehouse) in Spain.

02

Director NIE Procurement

Foreign nationals acting as directors, signatories, or legal representatives of a company in Spain need a NIE. We guide you through the process, whether you are applying from abroad or already in Spain.

  • Assessment of whether a NIE is required for your role
  • Application preparation and document review (EX-15, supporting evidence)
  • Guidance on applying at the Spanish consulate in your home country
  • Guidance on in-person NIE appointment (cita previa) if you are in Spain
  • Proxy / gestor route coordination where applicable
  • Step-by-step support through every stage until the NIE certificate is issued
03

NIF Registration for Non-EU Companies

Any non-EU legal entity operating in Spain, signing contracts, opening accounts, or complying with Spanish tax law, needs a NIF. The process involves coordination between your home country and the AEAT. We handle it end to end.

  • AEAT application preparation and submission
  • Document checklist tailored to your company's country of registration
  • Apostille guidance for company documents (certificates of incorporation, directors, etc.)
  • Certified Spanish translation coordination for required documents
  • Liaison with the AEAT throughout the review process
  • Follow-up until the NIF is confirmed and active

The NIF is required before your company can be registered for VAT, enter into Spanish contracts, or open a Spanish bank account. Getting the document package right the first time saves weeks of back-and-forth.

04

Company Formation & Local Setup

Setting up a legal entity in Spain, whether a branch, subsidiary, or SL, involves multiple registrations across different authorities. We coordinate the process and make sure nothing falls through the gap.

  • Guidance on the right legal structure for your situation (branch vs subsidiary vs SL)
  • NIE and CIF procurement for directors and the entity itself
  • Notary and Commercial Registry coordination via our legal network
  • Local bank account opening guidance
  • Introductions to vetted local lawyers, accountants, and advisors
05

Ongoing Operations Support

Once you are set up in Spain, day-to-day interactions with Spanish authorities, suppliers, and offices can still be time-consuming and opaque. We act as your local point of contact, so you do not need to.

  • Local vendor management and supplier communication in Spanish
  • Coordination with Spanish authorities on your behalf (AEAT, Seguridad Social, Ayuntamiento)
  • Process streamlining: identifying what you are required to do and what you can skip
  • Ad-hoc document handling, filing, and follow-up
  • Escalation point when something is blocked, delayed, or unclear
  • Regular English-language reporting on the status of your Spanish obligations

Designed for companies that have completed their initial setup and need reliable, ongoing local support without the cost of a full-time local employee.
